Plane Launcher

3,2,1, lift off! In this project, children will explore the principles of flight, as well as concepts such as energy conversion. They will make a plane launcher, some paper planes, and use the Tinkerer box to make a landing strip.

Ultraviolet Light

Your child will make a spinning dome, by using different sizes of gears to make a rotating viewer that glows under ultraviolet light. They’ll get creative and develop their artistic imagination by painting and decorating the inside of the dome, then use the board and ultraviolet pen to create their own patterns and designs.

Chameleon

It’s time to build a colour-changing chameleon that lights up! Your child will decorate the wooden frame with magic colour-changing pens, before discovering the colourful world and extraordinary abilities of chameleons. What is an Odyssey box?

Our Odyssey range is designed to fit the physical and learning level of kids aged 6-8. Every box contains high-quality craft materials and creative projects for your child, giving them hands-on experience of different STEAM topics. Our boxes aim to improve children’s creative confidence and logical processing skills.

What topics of exploration are included in the Odyssey subscription?

We explore new STEAM topics with every box, and each box is packed full of hands-on activities for kids. For the Odyssey range, we aim to help kids discover more about topics they will start to encounter at school, including light, sound, forces, simple engineering concepts, scientific experiments and natural science.

What is Tinkerer’s educational philosophy?

When will I receive my subscription boxes?

After placing your order, the first subscription box will be sent out within 3 working days. Subsequent boxes are sent out between the 15th and 25th of each month, and you can expect to receive your box in the second half of each month. If you have not received your box by the end of the month, please contact customer care for assistance. The starting month of your subscription depends on the date the first box is shipped. For example, if you purchase a subscription on September 30th and the first box is shipped on October 3rd, your subscription will be considered to start in October, and the second box will be sent in November.

When will I receive my single box or bundle order?

After placing your order, we will ship it out within 5 working days. Actual delivery times will depend on the delivery method chosen and the delivery location. Please see our shipping page for more information.

What payment options does Tinkerer accept?

We accept payment by all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay. If you require other payment methods, please contact customer support.

Is there a friend referral program?

Yes, there is! When you refer a friend and they make a purchase on our website, they will receive a discount of HKD$50 on their purchase, and you will receive HKD$50 worth of Tinkercoins. Tinkercoins can be used for any purchase on our website, and they will be automatically deducted from your order total before other payment formats are taken.
